Tonya has a Bachelor of Human Nutrition, Bachelor of Human Nutrition (Honours) and a Masters of Dietetic Practice at La Trobe University. She is currently doing her PhD at Deakin University. She has 3 years’ experience working in the private practice sector in many general practice clinics around Melbourne’s Northern and Western suburbs. Alongside this, she has experience in research working on multiple research projects.

I’m an accredited counsellor and social worker with extensive experience in helping individuals with a wide range of mental health issues specifically adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, health and well-being, resilience and self-esteem. I have a particular interest in family therapy and working with individuals and couples to build more effective relationships. I also have extensive experience helping individual with family violence issues and also been working in a school with students.

Our experienced physiotherapist, Dr Reza has PhD, Masters and Bachelor’s degrees in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and has over 30 years of diverse experience in physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, sports injuries, pain syndromes, falls prevention and geriatrics. He is interested in a hands-on approach to physiotherapy management and treatment including mobilisation and soft-tissue techniques, electro therapy and exercise prescriptions amongst other things. He specialises in Orthopaedics especially rehabilitation after joint replacement, Geriatrics, Sports injuries, Back Pain, Work-related injuries, and Car accidents to support his clients to return to their sport or work. Since receiving his PhD from Melbourne University in osteoarthritis and back pain, he is teaching in the physiotherapy postgraduate and undergraduate courses at La Trobe University, Bundoora.
MD FRACP Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Zamani is an interventional cardiologist with special interest in complex coronary intervention and structural heart disease.
He completed his undergraduate medical study in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He then completed his specialty in Internal Medicine by achieving Sub-specialty in Cardiology at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. After training in interventional cardiology in Tehran, Germany and Switzerland, he led a cardiac team in performing the first angioplasty case in Shiraz in 1994
He was then appointed as an Associate Professor of cardiology at Shiraz University and he was actively involved in a substantial number of cardiovascular interventions including complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions for over 20 years.
In Australia he completed a one-year cardiology interventional fellowship in 2015, followed by a peer review year at the Alfred Hospital and is now fully recognised by the Australian College of Physicians as a Cardiologist in Australia.
